Pablo Aramayo

Pablo has over 20 years of legal experience in oil and gas, energy, mining, regulatory, regulatory appeals and procurement, social licence and environmental matters.

In Bolivia, Pablo acted as Legal Director of SIRESE, Director of Legal Analysis of the Ministry of Mining and Hydrocarbons and General Counsel of the Ministry of Hydrocarbons. Pablo also head the multi-institutional public-private group responsible for drafting the Code of Commerce 2010.

For the private sector, Pablo has advice public-private partnerships and corporations in contentious and advisory matters. He has extensive experience in regulated industries, including the oil and gas, power and mining sector. Pablo is also a principal of Aramayo Arze Soc. Civ. He advices the Chamber of Exporting Companies of Santa Cruz (CADEX) and acts as board member of numerous corporations and non profit organizations.

In addition to his professional practice, Pablo has served as professor of corporate, regulatory and oil and gas law in numerous master degree programs at universities throughout the Andean Region. Pablo is an attorney from Universidad Católica Boliviana and holds a Master degree (LLM) in Corporate Law from Universidad Privada Boliviana and Universidad Los Andes, Colombia and a Diploma on Administrative Law from Universidad Panamericana, Mexico.
