Luis is an Environmental Engineer with over a decade experience in the oil and gas sector. He has worked extensively in onshore upstream operations, offshore upstream operations and midstream operations. He has worked in the Environmental area and HSEQ oversight during project development and decommissioning. Luis has experience in HSEQ areas concerning Project Inventory, Audit, HSEQ policy implementation, Integrated Management System certificates and RUC (a benchmark of the hydrocarbons sector during the contracting process in matters related to health, safety and the environment) compliance.
Luis graduated from the University Manuela Beltrán in Colombia. He also has a Diploma in Administration of Integrated Systems Management (Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality Policy) HSEQ, Diploma in Occupational Health and a Diploma in updating the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 2015. Luis is a Certified Internal Auditor of ISO 14001, ISO 9001 and OHSAS 18001. Luis also has experience of RUC, ISO 26000 and ISO 31000.
